1.) First, write your own TF agreement. Mine is here if you want to see an example. Describe your guidelines in concrete terms. Be sure to add a form with the following: the name and name of the photographer (if any), the location, the names of the models involved, the types of services, and the values of the services you need to run. Also add the agreed business objects. I recommend placing a paragraph in it that says you don`t accept images that have intrusive watermarks. Watermarked images in your portfolio are not flattering or professional. (The last thing you want in your ads or business cards is a photographer`s watermark.) Just because you are not paid does not mean that you do not have a performance obligation. Once you have agreed to work tf, you must abide by this agreement. Everyone else devoted themselves to the photo shoot. It`s a bit like when a customer doesn`t appear at an appointment.

Your stay at the show is money. The same goes for the support staff, the model and the photographers involved. Not to mention that most of the professionals who work in modeling and photography know each other. The negotiated remuneration for a model`s time can range from a pure amount in cash, possibly an amount for travel expenses or, depending on legal requirements, an additional amount for signing a model authorization to a simple number of images in a selected format. It may include partial, partial payment agreements for TFP[6] or „Time For Clothes”, under which the model receives some or all of the clothes purchased for the photo shoot. [7] Don`t confuse this with working in exchange for an editorial tear. Of course, if someone wants you to style some TF models for a spread to Vogue for free, do it.

What I am talking about is commercial advertising. When everyone starts working TF for clients, our work is worthless. „Experience” and „exposure” are not a good reason to work commercially for free. You need both of these things to have commercial work. If you`re not able to use these images as you please, don`t work for someone else for free, just so you can tell others you did it. The time of deductions (or trade for prints, time for images, TFP and sometimes deductions for time, PFT) is a term used by many photographic communities to describe an agreement between a model and a photographer, in which the photographer agrees to provide the model with a certain number of images of selected photos from the session, and an authorization or license for the use of these images in return for the period of the model. The word „time” refers to the time a person spends during the photo shoot. The word „prints” refers to a photo that is physically printed, usually on photo paper. The basis of the TFP concept is that a photographer and a model get together and exchange their „time” for free and receive the photos for their own use.
