Barca Agreement With Ajax

🇺🇸 #FCB #Ajax #Bayern #transfers The Blaugrana have worked hard during the transfer window to sack as many players as possible who are not part of Ronald Koeman`s plans, with the club urgently in need of money to fund the Dutchman`s rebuild. The defender began his career at Almere City before joining Ajax, where he first played as a striker in youth teams, before an injury to a team-mate gave him the chance to shine on the right side. The Catalan club has so far raised €34 million (£31 million/$40 million) by selling Nelson Semedo to Wolves, Jorge Cuenca to Villarreal, Ivan Rakitic to Sevilla and Arturo Vidal to Inter. This figure could increase by an additional €24 million (GBP 22 million / USD 28 million) through add-ons. Sky Sports News reported earlier this month that Barcelona had agreed personal terms with Aarons, but the deal failed as Norwich wanted to include a purchase obligation at the end of the loan. There is no agreement yet between the player and FC Barcelona. It will most likely be over on Monday and then Dest will officially be a FC Barcelona player. After the imminent takeover of Dest, the board is working to look for an outside striker to replace Suarez, with Lyon`s Memphis Depay apparently being the best option. And while financing an offer requires more sales, a transfer should not yet be ruled out.

Barcelona were in the race with Bayern Munich for the signing of the young star, and as things stand, the Catalan club has agreed with Ajax to sign the player. Dest himself also prefers to come to Barca against Bavaria – most likely because he has a higher playing time guarantee after the departure of Nelson Semedo, while Benjamin Pavard, the Bayern defender, is with Kimmich as a back-up. It seems that while the clubs are in negotiations, there is no final agreement yet and Dest could still move on to Bavaria…
